How to paint stairs?
The elements of the stairs are constantly influenced by many negative factors. To ensure that the stairs are always in good condition, they need to be painted periodically. Painting will protect the elements of the stairs from premature destruction.
Lacquer for stairs cover the front surfaces of metal and wooden structures.
Depending on the binding element, these coatings are divided into oil paints, enamels and polymer paints diluted with water.
The basis of oil paints is natural or artificial drying oil. Oil paints can be of a thick consistency, which are diluted with drying oil, or ordinary, they can be used immediately. Paints on a natural basis resistant to atmospheric vibrations. Paints on artificial drying oil are best used for interior work, as they are less practical.
Oil-free varnishes are made up of polymers and an organic solvent. The range of synthetic varnishes is huge. The most famous are polyacrylic, glyptal, perchlorovinyl, polyester. Oil coatings are protected with perchlorvinyl varnishes. Nitro-varnishes, which are produced by cellulose ether, tint wood products and give them a decorative sheen. This polish has a strong smell and dries quickly. There are also bituminous varnishes that are used as a waterproofing material. They are mainly covered with metal stairs.
Enamel is obtained after mixing pigment with varnish. They shine well, give the painted surface a rich color. Enamels can be oil, glyptal or nitro enamels. It is desirable to use enamels for painting stairs inside the building, where a moderate amount of moisture is contained.

But at first glance it seems so, as if everything is easy and simple, but in reality everything is far from it, a person must immediately remember and see, and especially be aware of how to paint the stairs in his house.
